I am not experienced but I am not a noob either. If there is one thing that ticks off an experienced player is when some new guy says something like "Give me a car" or "Give me <insert cash amout here>". I have had crew members ask me for tips and I am more than willing to share my experiences with them. I don't give away cars and I dont give away cash but I will let them know what to do to get both. I am not in it to win, I dont have the time, but I like to see some of the people I have helped get medals, get into top crews, and teach others how to play the game.
