Attempted Thefts: 5748 - 4400 5/0 = 1348 real attempts and 655 thefts. 1 hit for every 2.06 attempts now that I am only hitting.

Not to be picky, but this is a funny way of working out your hit ratio. I mean, taking away all the spam attempts is like a golfer hitting 10 putts but only counting from the first one that went in. So really, you have 1 hit every 8.8 attempts.

If the algorithm works on averages, then you wouldn't be able to get as many successful HI's and thefts if you didn't have all the spam attempts, so how can you disregard them?
