5 credits were used in the original spamming, a lot more were used for the actual attempts. It is not like a golfer hitting 10 putts because he would hit them the full distance, where as I only went 3.3% the actual distance. How about I explain it for you another way, so that you can see the bigger picture. I spammed 22,000 credits and with 1348 attempts at 152 credits I used another 204,896 credits, giving me a total of 224,896 credits used. 224,896 credits divided by my 655 thefts = 343.35 credits used per hit. Can you do that? No, you can't. If an attempt is based on 152 credits I hit at 343.35/152=2.26 attempts. A hit every 2.26 attempts IF I count it YOUR way. If you are stupid enough to actually count 5/0 as a full attempt there is something wrong. Now that you know EXACTLY how many credits I used and see that I hit every 343.35 credits COUNTING the 5/0, you will realize that it is a good way to bring hit percentage up. If a person was to spend the first 4 days doing NOTHING but 5/0 they would be able to hit about 1 hit every 343.35 credits, or 16.78 free hits per day. With a remaining 26 days in the round, a person could get to 436 FREE thefts in a round IF THEY USED MY SYSTEM.
" If the algorithm works on averages, then you wouldn't be able to get as many successful HI's and thefts if you didn't have all the spam attempts, so how can you disregard them?"
I am NOT the one disregarding them, I am the one that is TELLING people to do it, in a calculation like I did I was still VERY close to the actual hit per credit use because the spam attempts are so small and hardly consequential in relation to the total amount of credits used. Seeing as how you had a real hard-on to prove nothing I decided to do it your way, which works out NEARLY THE SAME.
The algorithm does not work on 'averages', that would be impossible to work into an equation. What I think it does do however is work as a direct function of percent. The percent would be a number derived from total attempts to a number previously thought up by the maker of the game. I would also tend to think that the highest success rate the makers would allow is 50% using the best technique and networth differential.
Now, everything is fully explained, and if you are still going to think that I only get a hit every 8.8 attempts so be it. I can tell you one thing though, you are not thinking about it from an intelligent point of view. ANYONE that can hit that frequently is REALLY DOING SOMETHING correctly, but then again, you have FAR more HI and boost titles don't you? rofl
There you all go, wonder how I get so many thefts and don't spend as much as you all think? Get your attempts up and its easy as pie
Next round I am trying something else
I think I REALLY have something figured out again :O
