Can someone explain "Keen"???

#1
Is it a European thing??

I don't get it, especially when you use it more then any other word...

I get it, it's asking if you're okay with something.

But isn't that easier, do people in the streets of New Zealand actually go around using the word???

Chad says:
wtf is with brits using hte word keen
Thanh says:
not sure...
Chad says:
lol
Chad says:
STTRRR8888 UUUPPP says:
you keen to run with me man
Chad says:

STTRRR8888 UUUPPP says:
im gonna get some people
STTRRR8888 UUUPPP says:
keen??

Chad says:
He used it... TWICE
Thanh says:
he's not brit
Chad says:
hes from New Zealend.
Chad says:
Sorry
Thanh says:
he's stingr!
Thanh says:
lol
Chad says:
European.
Chad says:
lol
Chad says:
RATE YOUR KEENESS ON A SCALE OF 1-10..... 10 BEING EXTREMELY KEEN and... 1 BEING HARDLY KEEN AT ALL
Thanh says:
LMFAO
Thanh says:
fucking chad
Thanh says:
-_-
Chad says:
lol

That's a good example.

Preferably if Stingr, or if Johnny could hop on here and explain this to all of us American folks.

i'm a NZ'er, its just a way of saying that you are willing to do something.

ie:

i'm willing to race this round...

i'm keen to race this round...

lol its easier to say keen, only has one syllable Tongue

i would say keen means WANT not so much willing... you actually want to do it. i am willing to go to work everyday doesnt mean i'm keen to work everyday. I am keen to go out tonight. i want to go out tonight.... or maybe thats just the way i see it here in Aus
