this is a very admirable idea and very do-able
but here is another idea along the same lines
add a credit feature like the last yakuza...where u have banked credits
Where when u buy creds they go to ur account but a secondary credit stash so that u still gain ur normal credits up to the max...It would take care of "spenders" feeling like they need to use all their credits at one time.
Also u can add however many creds u want at a time
i.e.
i buy 25k creds then i have a bank of 25k and normal creds of 2000
so it would appear as
25,000/2,000 [5:00] Upgrade/use banked creds or some terminology like that
