Eh.. extension to your idea..

As you move up in the levels... add more tunability. ie. level 1 you can't really tune because you suck. say like level 5 you can start to figure out fuel curves and [censored].. level 10 you figure out how to tune your E-manage... yadda yadda yadda..

kinda like how it is now with the upgrades, except a little more complex--i like that
