You and I are friends and I have always refrained from stating this in public and I have been more than man/friend enough to tell you one-on-one because I think you are misunderstood, but here goes...
You make the ass of yourself by getting cocky and arrogant with people when they make simple comments that are meant to help ease the difficulty that others have with or without you.
People try to help you, you get an attitude and claim to know all about what you are doing and you try to play the "better than you" card with them.
So ask again why people dislike you, but if you ask me, you should have figured it out by now cause this is like the 5th time I have told you, friend.
