Quote:Makes no sense to me whatsoever. You get better at racing by racing. You get better at Hi/Boost by Hi'ing and Boosting. What does racing exp have to do with stealing? That's what the 'Attempts' column is for. Already, high exp seems to make a difference in terms of low combos working, isn't that enough?

The Attempts column is supposed to mean nothing according to Ray. So maybe he needs to look at it an make sure it means nothing. Getting 4k attempts an stealing is not skill its boring. Getting a 100+ HI's off 200 attempts(not after you have 4k attempts either, straight up). Now that would be skill. For those who dont have the money to spend to get 4k attempts having an option to improve home invading chances would be a great idea, as this game is more about stealing then racing.

Well, I've never gotten 4k attempts and haven't spent in months but it does seem like I get better results once my attempts are higher. Maybe it's a function of exp also being higher or just a coincidence. My point was that making thieving skills related to racing exp (the original point of the thread) doesn't make sense to me.

Level 30 = 95% Chance of Home Invading - $400,000,000

Since most of the high people were 18+ on day 1 I dont think that will work out to good
the numbers would have to be bigger like that. i think they should even be alot bigger then that!!!!

Now I know most you guys didn't enjoy the whole thing, but what if it were to look something like this:

Level 0 = 2% Chance of Home Invading - $2,500
Level 2 = 5% Chance of Home Invading - $25,000
Level 4 = 10% Chance of Home Invading - $50,000
Level 6 = 12% Chance of Home Invading - $100,000
Level 8 = 15% Chance of Home Invading - $250,000
Level 12 = 18% Chance of Home Invading - $750,000
Level 14 = 20% Chance of Home Invading - $2,250,000
Lecel 18 = 22% Chance of Home Invading - $5,000,000
Level 21 = 25% Chance of Home Invading - $12,000,000
Level 25 = 30% Chance of Home Invading - $25,000,000
Level 30 = 50% Chance of Home Invading - $75,000,000

The amount of cash you spend to upgrade I think should still be higher, so their is money involved with being able to Home Invade better.

And I most certainly don't enjoy how Home Invading is so easy, so I changed the success rate drastically. I think that you do need to race in order to get some Home Invasions. When you are higher level you, you should be better at Home Invading. And if you can reach Level 30, then you should indeed be able to Home Invade nearly 50%. This way it will make a lot of people want to reach a higher level when being a theif.

When Hybrid played all he did was stayed at Level 1. He did excellent for being Level 1, and proved it didn't matter where you were at. So I think that if their was some sort of advantage when being a higher level, then it will make the game much for fair, a tighter race, and everybody will have a different strategy for achieving the win.

Please explain why you do/don't think this formula is good.
