Who are you to dictate what the "wrong" path is? I drink. I drink a lot. It's not a bad thing. There's nothing wrong with drinking at 13. I'm not allowed to get my license because I got a DUI at 13.
Look at it logically. Beer is just a beverage. If someone says they are "addicted" to alcohol, they're an idiot. They just don't want to quit. An addiction is just an excuse for the weak-willed.
