the whole way I look at it is what is worth listening to on a CD that they have made.
Take Tech N9ne for instance....I can listen to every track on his CD, including the intros and not have to worry bout changing the track. I like Dipset and the other more commercial rap, but they got fillers put in there. Also. Most rappers buy there raps. Dipset has JR Writer write all there raps. Cash Money buys theres and the guy even sued them for not paying him. It is one thing to make a good, decent song. But can you write it. nobody writes there own songs in POP culture
Cannibus is nice. His fault was taking a shot at LL after LL put him on a track that had big commercial success. After that and the dealing with Wyclef screwed up his career.
I dont know bout the other people that romeo posted, but i will def. check them out

and im gonna have to say shyne is up there on the top, along with old mase. Bad boy use to run the game. DMX is up there. Dre obviously. Eminems "the way i am" is one of my favorite songs. T.I is one of the best southern rappers ever. And even though i dont like 50 cent in the least bit, "many men" is a ridiculously good song.
