How about make Boost and Nitrous upgrades worthwhile. All you get is a higher rating and more gas/nitrous use, right? What's the point in that?

What is the point of having the boost/nitrous/pnp upgrades be based off of your level of experience if they don't do anything to your car? You should have the upgrades do something other than consume more fuel and NOx, or don't offer them at all.

do nos and boost not add power to a car ... ?
of course if your running more boost or nos your going to use alot more fuel and nos over all ...
but they both add power.so they play a part in the game no ?

the power upgrades play a part of your time in the early levels, but after 10~15, they're not needed

I was just thinking that if you have NOS, then the upgrade should give you a higher speed for your higher NOS use.
Just the same, if you have a charger or it is factory installed, then boost should also give you a little time improvement.
I'm not asking for a drastic difference...just a little something for the money OR just do away with it OR replace it with some other kind of upgrade.

it does give u a quicker time by adding power to your car in the early levels ...
early levels + boost and nos makes your time better.

should have added a who cares in the poll....its a good game and everything is for a reason so i say leave it alone and move on....id rather use less fuel and nos anyways cause then u dont have to spend money and credits to keep refueling....focus on gettn good at the game...find a good teacher and it wont take long

the bad thing about this would be that if you NEED more PR to get a faster car, then you'll need to tune up after every race, use 10 credits every 4 minutes, plus 5 to race with, and only get 12 or 20 every 5 minutes?
or change everything in else in game to revolve around more PR? :x
