Sold the Chevelle today cause I need a down payment for a house. Since I'll be able to still save money while paying for the house(unless I decide to go nuts and make double payments for a few years or something) I was thinking of something silly like building a vehicle pretty much out of a catalog.
Has anyone done this before? is it even possible without buying a donor car for the passenger compartment? i know they got the body for the 69 Camaro, but I was thinking more along the lines of a tri-five. I recall the guy who did my chevelle said one of the magazines he used to order parts for his bel airs(he has 1 from all 3 years) did a show car using nothing but parts from their catalog.

Alright...maybe this is a dumb question, but I am going to ask it anyway. I was attempting to increase my import model happiness, so naturally I decided to race. I went to "List Players" and clicked on a name higher than me and raced them(won). My happiness rating went up say from 78% to 82% or around there. I raced another person higher up (won) and my rating went up to about 88% I think. So I raced one more even higher up. I won again BUT my rating went down to 82% again...What gives?

If you know why this happened, please let me know. Also, does anyone know a better way or other ways to increase import model happiness?

I used to play about 5 years ago and recently picked up the game, and I remember that you could wager money on street races. Much has changed and improved, but I miss the fact that you used to be able to put money on your own races. It is obviously still kept in the game as when you race for slips the dollar amount of 0 still comes up. You should be able to put your money where your mouth is and wager cash on races again.

how about the WV and OU game tonight, i had OU giving WV 8 1/2 points and they cant even win the damn game

How about make Boost and Nitrous upgrades worthwhile. All you get is a higher rating and more gas/nitrous use, right? What's the point in that?
